Mediterraneo Dance Festival, an international dance event currently in its 34st edition!!! It’s an annual event of reference for students, teachers, professional dancers and dance enthusiasts. Conceived as an intercultural Study-Vacation to deepen, improve the technique and style of the different dance expressions: modern, contemporary, hip hop, it is honored by the presence of world-renowned choreographers.
The program includes dance classes and choreographic workshops led by choreographers of the most important and famous international companies, meetings, exhibitions, competitions, video productions and shows.
A huge number of dancers and choreographers have participated in the festival since 1992, its birth year. Successfully extended from year to year, it has become one of the most famous and interesting international dance events, with participants from all over Italy, European and Extra European countries.
The location of MDF ITALY 2026 will be the beautiful village of TROPEA, the pearl of the renowned “Costa degli Dei” (Coast of the Gods). A few kilometers from Capo Vaticano with its splendid coves and beaches and a sea of fantastic colors. About 25 km. there is the famous town of Pizzo Calabro. TROPEA is about 50 km away from the international airport of Lamezia Terme.
Mediterraneo Dance Festival is a cultural project, produced by the Mediterraneo Arte of Reggio Calabria, cultural association directed by Basilio Foti, organizer and director of the event, with the precious collaboration of FB production (China partner), FeelMINI, an international group of image productions, video and communication, and the valuable organizational support of its staff.

Each choreographer will teach short choreographies which will be demonstrated by all students at the Final Show. Furthermore, each choreographer will select students who will perform at the International Gala. Each choreographer will award to their students Scholarships for MDF ITALY 2027.

The Final Show, featuring all the dancers performing the teachers’ choreography, the Showcase, featuring schools or dance groups participating in the workshops, who will perform their own choreography, and the International Gala, featuring dancers selected by the teachers, the winner of the Battle, and international guest artists.
This will be followed by the Scholarship Award Ceremony for MDF ITALY 2027.

To dance teachers / group leaders who enroll a group of students, we offer the following special conditions of participation:

For registration of 5 students the teacher / group-leader will receive a prize of:
- € 100,00 (participation to LAB 1 or LAB 2)
- € 200,00 (participation to both LAB)

The special conditions refer to registrations of dancers only, auditors are not calculated.
Scholarship winners cannot be included in the group.
To take advantage of the special conditions, you must register the group with a single operation by making a single reservation / deposit payment for all students including the teacher / group leader. It will not be possible to register for groups on the day of arrival day.

Special Conditions for Students under 13 year old
Students under 13 (under 13 at check-in) accompanied by at least two adults will pay €46.00 per day for full board and €26.00 for half board. Furthermore, minors are exempt from paying the tourist tax.
You have to pay your accommodation fee at the reception of the Resort on check-in, you can pay by credit card. The tourist tax of is not included, it’s € 2.40 per person per day (children under 16 are exempt).
Each accommodation consists of a bedroom with king size bed for two people and a living room with 1,2,3 beds (in case of triple, quadruple, quintuple). In the living room there is a table and chairs, with refrigerator. In each apartment there is terrace you have also a table, chairs and drying rack for clothes. Air condition in both rooms.
The above prices include use of the village swimming pool, shuttle service to the affiliated Lido, with use of umbrellas and sunbeds. The meal includes water and wine. At the pool bar you can drink for free, from h. 10.00 to 22.00 glasses of cola, orange soda and water.

You need to book your accommodation by ONLINE RESERVATION FORM on the website www.mediterraneodancefestival.com, or by a PDF RESERVATION FORM downloadable from the website, by choosing the type and number of preferred rooms.
In the FORM you can write the names of the people with whom to share the room and in the case of a single person who would like to share the room with other people, by request, we will try to arrange you with people of the same sex, according to availability but we do not guarantee your preference. Those who arrive a few days later or anticipate their departure for personal reasons will have to pay the full amount calculated for all period.
