Lab 1 consisting of dance courses in jazz dance and hip hop for children aged 8 to 13 years and adults beginners aged 14 years and over, by the teachers: Michele Oliva for jazz and Francesca Cecchini for hip hop, for intermediate and advanced dancers classes of modern jazz with Francesco Saracino and a jazz class for intermediate and advanced held by the talented Jason Beitel. The Pilates classes will be conducted by the teacher Patrizia Muzzupappa and aerial dance (fabric, hammock, hoop) will be held by Simona Calanna, both courses will be issued to all levels including observers.
The Arrival day is scheduled for July 5th, the Marasusa Resort reception will be open from h. 8.00 am. to 10.00 pm., the accommodation will be available after 5.00 pm, MDF office will be open from h. 3.00 to 9.00 pm. The Departure day is scheduled for July 12th (please book the shuttle, at least 3 days before, for the transfer to the Tropea train station or Lamezia Terme airport).
Classes, workshops and performances at the Open Theater Studio, a structure with a stage of 18.30 x 12,30 meters, with resilient flooring and dance floor (Harlequin professional studio), located within Marasusa resort, in a special area on the green side, from which there is a landscape of outstanding beauty. Other study activities will take place in an indoor hall with air conditioning.
On July 8th after the study activities, in the evening, there will be an interesting Meeting with the teachers, an opportunity to get to know the teachers better. During the meeting we will show some interesting videos about the teachers.
Each student will be given a Certificate of Attendance which will be signed by their teachers.
At the conclusion of the FINAL SHOW, which takes place in the evening of the last day, the Scholarships will be awarded for MDF 2011 and for International Dance Centers.
In addition, collateral activities will be organized like : movies projections on the big screen, parties, live music, visits to the town of Tropea and boat trips to visit the beautiful Coast and admire the Aeolian Islands, in particular the nearby volcanic island "Stromboli".
