Adi Salant started dancing at the age of 6 at Bat-Dor Dance School, where she studied until she was 12 years old.
After graduating from the dance division of Alon Art High School, Adi danced in the young Batsheva troupe for two years, then was invited to dance with the adult troupe Batsheva, where she remained for five years.
She left the troupe in 2001 to become the assistant to Ohad Naharin, whose works she staged with large dance troupes around the world until 2009.
Adi left to join her husband in Denmark in 2004. She then started her own teaching and choreography career after winning the Dansolution choreography contest in Copenhagen.
In the following years, she received commissions from various Danish theaters and dance companies.
She has been invited to present her choreographies at festivals held in the US. U., Europe and Israel.
In September 2009, she joined the Batsheva Troupe as Assistant Artistic Director, and was named Co-Creative Director in January 2013.
